Samlermærket Newsletter No. 3 – September 15, 1913.
Each edition of the Andreasen & Lachmann newsletter known as Samlermærket (The Poster Stamp) that we publish here on the Poster Stamp Collectors Club website will be accompanied by a short synopsis of the contents of the newsletter.
Page One – Announcement that Samlermærket was expanding its publication from once per month to twice per month, beginning October 1, 1913.
Page Two – Details about the upcoming A&L Exhibition of Poster Stamps; Article about how and why people start collecting poster stamps.
Page Three – Notes about how stamps are mounted and how they can be removed from the newsletter; A&L’s upcoming annual catalogue; How to store one’s collection. How and where A&L poster stamps can be purchased by the public. A new column “It Is Asked”, wherein answers are given to questions posed to A&L. Information about A&L’s “Exchange Lists”.
Page Four – Eight different actual poster stamps mounted in the newsletter, along with details about each one.
Page Five – Recurring column “What the Press Thinks”, including a cartoon; Information about how Samlermærket will function as a club – with subscribers being members, and how the “club” will encourage poster stamp collecting.
Page Six – A listing, by the numbers, of all Genuine A&L Poster Stamp issued to date; an update on current prices for genuine A&L poster stamps.
