Denmark – Original Artwork for Poster Stamp promoting Købestævne (Trade Fair) in Fredericia. Hand painted essay on card in the approximate size of the finished poster stamp. Produced by the advertising agency Weber & Sørensen, founded in Aarhus in 1879. Design depicts the “Købestævnets Bygning” (Trade Fair Building), designed by architect Oscar Gundlach-Pedersen, and built in 1915. Originally intended for the 1932 Købestævne, the design was slightly modified and used for the poster stamp promoting the 1933 fair.
