Nixon campaign portrait

A printer’s proof pane, imperforate, not gummed. From the presidential campaign of 1972.  It’s amateurish and sloppy. One can see that the rows are uneven, Nixon’s face is darker in shaded areas on some stamps, and the font for REELECT was hand-drawn at a grade school level. It was issued anyway.
