Poster Stamp honoring Egbert Bagg (1850-1915) – celebrating his 30th anniversary as a registered insurance agent. Used on a cover from his office in 1905. The Bagg family has been prominent in Utica, NY history since the early 18th century. Egbert Bagg was also a renowned amateur ornithologist.
