During the 1904 World’s Fair many products were on display and the Fair awarded prizes to some of the prizes. The company’s took pride in these awards and often added them to the product labels and containers. In this case, Jack Daniel’s of Lynchburg, TN was awarded the Fair’s Gold Metal and they added to the product label.
