Two poster stamps showing posters by Pablo Picasso in 1954 and 1957, from a series of 16+ designs he made for the town of Vallauris, France for its annual pottery exhibition. These two posters show a vase (left) and pottery (right) with kiln, artist carrying pots, and potter’s wheel. Picasso produced the posters annually as linoleum cuts; a set of 18 poster stamps was issued after 1958.
