Here is a Sudoku puzzle for those Sudoku solvers who are bored with the standard format. This is something more challenging, not for beginners. Rather than being a 9 x 9 square, this is 10 x 10. And it uses letters rather than numbers to fill in the blanks.
The letters to be used are the words LID CLEANER.
Here is the Starting square.
More explanation of the format:
This puzzle is 10 x 10 and the rows, columns and blocks are 10 squares each. An example row and column are shown in green tint below. The 10-blocks are 2 columns by 5 rows (shown in yellow). Every row, column and 10-block must have all the letters of “LID CLEANER”. Note that this means that every row, column and block must have 2 L’s, 2 E’s as well as one each of I, D, C, A, N, and R.
The pink tinted squares are a special hint: These show areas where 3 real words are spelled out, all 3 in the theme of Cinderella’s. For those who have started, but would like a bit of a HINT, click here.
