October 20:

The real mail Poster Stamp Bulletin #5 is being mailed out today, somewhat behind schedule. We are continuing to add members to the address list when we get information, but many members have still not entered that information in the directory.

August 28:

You may notice that our headline and top menus look slightly different. That is because we are attempting to adapt the website so that you can make use of it from your phone. It’s an ongoing process for inexperienced programmers–feel free to try looking on your smarty phone, whatever the brand, and let us know what happens. email secretary

August 16:

The Poster Stamp Bulletin #4 of this year has now been mailed out, many of us got our copy today. The most recent subscribers will get a copy, but a little late.

August 8:

The PSSC has now made it into LINN’S Stamp News.  Look in the August 8 issue on page 18 for the headline: Poster Stamp Collectors Club Makes Changes. Thank-you Linn’s.

June 10:

The real mail copy of the Poster Stamp Bulletin was mailed out last week. Not everyone will receive it, as MANY members have STILL not gotten logged in correctly and edited their profile with updated mailing information. Those who do not, may not get the mail sale offer due to come out in July.

Our managing editor, Joseph W., is in the midst of a cross country move, and co-editor Nicholas F. took up the slack admirably. Most of the Bulletin will eventually be available (to members only) in a scanned b&w copy in the Library Section under Poster Stamp Bulletin, but you can see the April issue now.

June 1:

Two clubs are now merged, the Poster Stamp Collectors Club, and the Poster Stamp Bulletin (aka Poster Stamp Society of America). Members MUST edit their profile and get their correct user name and mailing information entered.

A mailing went out to all PSB members as of June 1st with instructions on what to do. Once they have enrolled, it will take us a few hours to receive the [automatic] notice, flip the switch and send you a confirmation email, so please be patient with us.  And notice there is no money involved for 2022.

May 10:  We are in the process of deleting old member accounts and establishing new accounts with the username format being {first_name}_{last_name}.  Once we have all the new accounts set up for our active members we will be sending out emails with the new user name so that they can reset their passwords and complete their user profiles.   SORRY for any inconvenience. If you are not a member this is a great time for you to think about joining.  See the Join Us page.

Hey All,

We are busy working on the club website.  We encourage you to continue to look around and provide us with feedback.  You will see some pages we have marked as Under Construction so please don’t expect for those pages to be ready for primetime just yet.

Under the “About Poster Stamps” menu are 5 new major articles open for any site visitor to read, intended for beginners on up.

In the Library we have begun adding a new archive: issues of the Poster Stamp Bulletin from 1994 and 1995.  It will take a lot of time, but eventually issues from 1994 up until the present will be available on-line. It’ll only be available to member/subscribers, however. Other resources for research will gradually appear here.

Soon a new Forum will open for questions and answers or comments by members. And more

Check back often as we have many more exciting features planned!

Anyone with questions or website problems can also email me, Secretary and Webmaster, or also the Treasurer, Ray. (See officers, home page)
Until the end of the year, we will be letting serious new subscribers become members until 2023, to have a few months to try us while the wrinkles get ironed out.
